Damask on Paris

Damask on Paris

Okay guilty pleasure confession time:  I've been watching the Gilmore Girls... Here's my rendition of the character "Paris".
And it is completely unlike her...

First attempt at watercolors

Walk with Me

My first attempt at a watercolor painting.  I must admit I have a long road of improvement ahead of me but I am also a bit impressed with this first try.  Also, I think my depth perception needs a bit of work but that is not related to the actual watercolors... it is but a technical error.

In Flight Drawing

In Flight Drawing

The best time to draw

During a recent trip to Orlando, Florida, I discovered the best time to draw is in flight.  You get no interruptions (unless you need to use the teeny tiny bathrooms) and it is usually a great conversation starter.  I had no problems, whatsoever, flying with my 100+ Copic Sketch markers.  My biggest fear was that I would lose them at the security checkpoints.  It is important, however, to remember to open both ends before each use while in the air and then once you land.  It is a little awkward at first because of the lack of space but nothing a little creative marker holding can't solve.  Give it a try next time you fly.

First SuperHero Attempt: WonderWoman

Wonder Woman

Okay, so I usually steer clear of superhero types but I just could not resist this one.
